He is currently Associate Editor of Behavior Therapy and the Journal of Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders, and is on the editorial boards of eight other journals. He has edited or co-edited 20 books dealing with treatment of complex cases in children and adults, obsessive-compulsive disorder, disgust in psychopathology, and research methodology. Dr. McKay has published more than 300 journal articles and book chapters and has more than 350 conference presentations. He is board certified in both cognitive-behavioral and clinical psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), as well as a Fellow of APA and APS. He also serves on the Scientific Council of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF), and serves on the executive board of the Coalition for the Advancement and Application of Psychological Science (CAAPS). His research has focused primarily on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), the role of disgust in psychopathology, and, most recently, on selective sound sensitivity (also known as misophonia). Eric A. Storch, Ph.D., is Professor and McIngvale Presidential Endowed Chair in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). He serves as Vice Chair and Head of Psychology and co-directs the Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders program at BCM. Dr. Storch specializes in the nature and treatment of childhood and adult obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and anxiety among youth with autism. In addition to more than 800 published articles and chapters and 20 books, he has received multiple federal grants to investigate treatment efficacy, mechanisms of action, genetics, bioethics, innovative approaches to phenotyping, and how to enhance outcomes for those struggling with OCD and related conditions.
